High-Resolution Image Synthesis with Latent Diffusion Models

This paper introduces Latent Diffusion Models (LDMs), a new approach to generating high-resolution images. Instead of directly working in pixel space, LDMs operate in a lower-dimensional latent space, which is learned from the image data. This makes the image generation process more efficient and allows for better image quality. The method achieves state-of-the-art results on various image synthesis tasks, while significantly reducing computational requirements.
