An Empirical Study of the Accuracy of Mutation Testing

This paper explores the effectiveness of mutation testing, a technique used to evaluate software testing strategies. By introducing artificial faults (mutations) into the code, mutation testing assesses whether the tests can detect these faults. The study analyzes the accuracy of mutation testing by examining the relationship between mutation score and fault detection capability.
